Weekly 30 or 60 minute one-on-one lesson
Monday through Friday 3:30-6:30pm
Ages 6 and up, even adults
We start private instrument lessons around age 6, ideally after kids have experienced one of our group music development classes and learned some of the basics of counting, note values and the musical alphabet.
If your child is showing an interest in music, but you’re not sure of their ability to focus for 30 minutes, you may consider one of our 60 minute group lessons. They are a little less formal and incorporate elements of fun and cooperation with other kids.

Our teachers specialize in dealing with young children and their varying attention spans. Knowing this they keep the lessons fun and engaging for a variety of ages. Instructors will assess each child to determine the best course of study for them to bring out their creativity.
Stringed instruments can be challenging for younger kids due to the dexterity and fine motor skills necessary for both hands to strum and fret the strings, but a ukulele is a great place to start since it is smaller and the strings are lighter to the touch. Lessons are also given on acoustic or electric guitar.
For the Ringo of your family, or Animal (From The Muppets) to develop rhythm and release all that energy in a positive and productive way. Drums give immediate playing satisfaction and help build an internal grasp of math.
